Echoes of Being

Art at the Intersection of Memory, Emotion, and Presence

TERAVARNA Art Gallery proudly presents Echoes of Being, a group exhibition uniting five artists whose works explore the tender intersections of psychology, memory, faith, and the natural world. Featuring the deeply personal and resonant works of Chris Silver, Rebecca Allain, Joyce Yiu, Anna Kirsanova, and Rachel Ferguson, this show invites viewers to consider how inner life and outer form converge to create meaning.
Each artist brings a unique voice to this dialogue: Chris Silver’s psychologically charged paintings transform personal and familial histories into layered visual reflections on mental health and remembrance. Rebecca Allain’s luminous canvases reveal painting as both sanctuary and spiritual search, born from grief and transformed into faith-filled vision. Joyce Yiu infuses her bold abstractions with rhythm and vitality, using color and form to echo music, literature, and lived experience. Anna Kirsanova’s contemplative brush-and-ink works distill the subtleties of nature into moments of mindfulness, drawing the eye to fleeting, often-overlooked details. Finally, Rachel Ferguson’s portraits, still lifes, and symbolic compositions, such as Christopher’s Keepsake, embody art’s power to preserve memory, connection, and love.
Together, these artists form a chorus of perspectives—each distinct, yet harmonizing through a shared exploration of what it means to live, to remember, and to feel deeply. Echoes of Being is an invitation to pause with these works, to experience not only the beauty of their surfaces but the stories, struggles, and emotions embedded within them.
Running from October 6, 2025, Echoes of Being offers a journey into art’s most enduring purpose: to reflect the human condition in all its vulnerability, resilience, and grace. For more information, visit TERAVARNA Art Gallery.
