Florence Keefe
Florence Keefe is a Dallas-based artist who specializes in portraits, landscapes, and non-figurative abstract work. Her artistic journey began in Paris, visiting her grandparents, where she discovered paintings that profoundly shaped her passion for art. After arriving in Dallas as a single mother in 1984, she took art classes at different colleges and discovered pastels, oil, and figure drawing. Since her retirement three years ago, she has devoted herself fully to art, recently discovering sculpture and creating her first sculpture in early 2026. Her work includes portraits of survivors of domestic abuse and other subjects, and she has been selected to exhibit in international galleries.
