Hyebin Jeon is a Korean artist whose paintings and drawings explore memory, sensation, and the passage of time. Working in oil, charcoal, pencil, ink, and soft pastel, she translates bodily feeling and emotion into visual form rather than reproducing a moment as it appeared. She treats painting as an accumulation of time, where every line and layer carries the trace of the hours spent making it. Her recent work turns inward, using the self as a subject to explore identity, desire, grief, and gratitude. Through her practice she does not seek to stop time but to meet it, and to leave behind a surface that shows it passed.
